Jacalyn Smith has been working in the title industry for 26 years. She is currently a Sr. Commercial Escrow Officer for Greater Indiana Title Company. Jackie received her B.A. in Political Science from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, and her M. Ed. from University of New Hampshire-Durham.

She started her career at Lawyers Title in 1991 as a Residential Closer/Office Manager in Northwest Indiana.

From there, during 1996 in Hobart Indiana, she went on to open Ticor, now known as Fidelity’s Office. During her time there, she closed both residential and commercial transactions and managed the Hobart location.

After that, she worked thirteen years for Chicago Title. For the first three years, she worked as a Residential Escrow Officer in Hobart, Indiana. For the remaining ten years, she worked as a Commercial Escrow Officer of NW Indiana, where she handled all of the commercial and construction disbursement for the entire state of Indiana for CT.

In July of 2017, Jackie joined Greater Indiana Title Company, as a Sr. Commercial Escrow Officer, conducting commercial real estate transactions, and commercial construction disbursements for the Indiana operation.

Jackie is a 26 year resident of NW Indiana and enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and traveling.
